Legacy Gifts

In the years after the Civil War, donors in what would become Flat Rock made gifts that would change our history. They donated hundreds of acres of farm land and raised money to buy even more acres to allow a small orphanage crammed into the city of Tiffin to move to a 500 acre farm. There, the children learned to farm, cook and perform other chores that made the orphanage largely self-sustaining as they were able to grow much of their own food, raise dairy and beef herds and learn the value of hard work.

The gift of that property was a "forever gift".  While we are grateful for the many, many gifts we receive that help us with the immediate needs of those in our care, "forever gifts" make a huge impact in the lives of our children.

In your will or through other planned gifts such as annuities, insurance policies or gifts of property, you may choose to make a "forever gift" to Flat Rock.
