Flat Rock will host this community trunk-or-treat event from 5pm-7pm in the Flat Rock Care Center parking lot and Ebeneezer UMC will bring the church and community together for this wonderful event.
Trunk-or-treating is a fun way for families and communities to gather in a safe place and fun way to celebrate Halloween together!
Participants will park in the Flat Rock Care Center parking lot, decorate their cars for Halloween and pass out candy to participants. Trunk or Treating is often a safer alternative to trick or treating in rural areas where houses are often far apart. Much like going house to house to collect candy, participants will travel from car to car in a safe space to collect candy and celebrate Halloween as a community!
Karen Henry, Director of Training & Quality Assurance QIDP for Flat Rock Homes, is working with Judy White, Flat Rock Ebeneezer UMC Mission Committee Chair, to plan this event. Don Snook, principal of Flat Rock Education Center will DJ for the event.
