August 2017: Updates for you!
Our Back to School campaign is wrapping up and we just wanted to thank everyone for donating this year! Our students and adult residents benefit so much from these donations and we appreciate your support! Thank you also to everyone who came to Flat Rock Night at the Cleveland Indians game on Tuesday September 12th. It was a great time for everyone!

Get your Quilts ready because the Quilt Auction is coming up! Save the Date: October 21st from 11:00am-3:00pm at the Patricia Lindley Center for the Performing Arts in Wellington, Ohio. We’re partnering with the Wellington First United Methodist Church for the event this year. Head to our website for more information! #GivingTuesday is back again this year as well! Mark your calendars for November 28th!
We also wanted to take a moment and thank the Late Rev. Carl Gray and his family for his generous donation through a life insurance policy to us here at Flat Rock Homes. Through his generosity, we were able to purchase a new-to-us bus to help transport the individuals we serve.
As a reminder: the Labels for Education program is ending. If you do have labels saved away, you can still send them to us! Please make sure they get to us before Christmas so they can be applied. We are in need of household items such as tissues, paper towels, and toilet paper and as always any and all monetary donations are greatly appreciated. We are also looking for volunteers! Thank you so much to our volunteers from Flat Rock Ebenezer and Seybert United Methodist Church who helped us to get our Back to School mailer out! We really appreciate that you took a few hours out of your day to help us out. And another thank you to Westlake United Methodist Church for helping with some clean up a few weeks ago!
