Gearing Up for Fall September 2018
We’re gearing up for Christmas here at Flat Rock Homes! It may seem early, but it will sneak up on us quickly. We also love our upcoming Halloween and Thanksgiving celebrations in our Community and Care Center Homes.
Event Information
Wrap-Ups
Thanks to you, our Back to School campaign did better than in 2017! You’ve helped us in more ways than you can possibly know and every donation goes to aid in the care of the Care Center residents and the Community Services consumers.
Upcoming
Don’t forget to mark your calendars for #GivingTuesday this year! November 27th will be the day. Our goal this year is to finish out the furniture fund that we got off to a great start last year.
Save the date for the Race at the Rock on May 4th next year! In honor of our friend Rev. Dr. Richard “Dick” Parks, the race has been renamed the Dick Parks Memorial Race at the Rock. For our full memorial for Dick Parks, click here.
Also in 2019, we have one of our biggest fundraisers of the year: The Flat Rock Biennial Quilt Auction! Keep an eye on our social media as well as our upcoming newsletters for the date and location of next year’s amazing event.
General Announcements
We’re hiring! We’re looking for loving, caring individuals for our Care Center and our Community Services houses. If this sounds like you or someone you know, click here for more information.
If your church or group is planning on participating in our Christmas Wish Tag program, don’t forget to send us your form by September 30th!
Items we need and Volunteer Opportunities
