#GivingTuesday is almost here!
November is a time to gather together with our friends, family and loved ones as we give thanks for all that we have received! It is a time to share the goodness we have received with others. Recently, a movement has swept the globe called. #GivingTuesday. #GivingTuesday, is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration. It takes place on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday.
This year, #GivingTuesday falls on Tuesday, November 29, 2016. I invite you to participate in #GivingTuesday by giving of your time, your talent and your treasure.
Last year, Flat Rock Homes participated in our first ever #GivingTuesday. Thanks to our donors and community partners, we had an incredible day of giving! Here is a look at Flat Rock’s inaugural #GivingTuesday by the numbers:

Your gifts are critical to support the care of the individuals in our Care Center and Community Services Program. Donations help us cover the cost of adaptive equipment (leg braces, special eating utensils, etc.), wheelchairs, therapeutic equipment, therapies (speech therapy, physical therapy, etc.), staff care beyond what the state will reimburse for, dental care, field trips, Summer Activities Program, and so much more!
Your gifts make it possible for the individuals we care for to flourish and realize their full potential! We could not fulfill our mission without your support.
The monetary gifts we receive at the end of the year help us plan the next year with hope knowing how loved our individuals are as demonstrated through your gift.
