Summer is here and our days are filled with warm smiles and laughter.

We are still celebrating Henry’s* graduation from the Flat Rock Education Center.  After a well deserved break, he transitioned to our Adult Advantages program where he will continue to build valuable vocation and social skills.

Our school aged individuals are actively participating in our Summer Activities Program which focuses on healthy lifestyles.

Thanks to the Firelands Federal Credit Union, our individuals received pool passes which they will use regularly throughout the summer. In the afternoon, our individuals will partner with a staff person to participate in exercise activities such as yoga, stretching, station exercises and exercise videos, all of which is made possible by a generous grant through the Tiffin Charitable Foundation.

In addition to their exercise routines, our individuals will focus on good nutrition as they grow their own vegetable garden on campus. They will also put together their own recipe book filled with some of their favorite healthy foods.

We are able to provide outstanding care, services and programs, such as our Summer Activities Program, Flat Rock Education Center and Flat Rock Adult Advantages because of your faithful commitment and the generosity of our valued community partners, like the Firelands Federal Credit Union and the Tiffin Charitable Foundation.
