Direct Support Professionals support individuals in their daily lives by providing hands-on assistance, encouragement, and structure. DSPs help people maintain routines, build independence, and feel supported in their homes and communities.

Opportunities are available in both our Care Center and Community Services supportive living homes, with full-time and part-time schedules available.

• Support individuals with daily living activities, personal care, and established routines
• Assist with meals, household tasks, and transportation to appointments or activities
• Encourage skill development and independence in everyday settings
• Follow individual support plans and document services accurately
• Respond appropriately to medical, behavioral, or emergency situations
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to ensure consistent care

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred (state waivers may apply in some cases)
• Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively as part of a team
• Valid Ohio driver’s license and acceptable driving record for most roles
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Prior experience is helpful but not required; paid training is provided

Lead Direct Support Professionals provide direct care while also offering day-to-day leadership within an assigned home or program, supporting both individuals and staff.

Opportunities may be available across both Care Center and Community Services settings.

• Provide direct support to individuals in accordance with their service plans
• Mentor, train, and support DSPs to promote consistency and quality care
• Assist with onboarding and day-to-day staff coordination
• Support compliance with agency policies and applicable state requirements
• Communicate regularly with supervisors, families, and other partners
• Step in to assist with coverage or urgent needs when necessary

• Prior experience as a Direct Support Professional or in a related role
• Strong communication skills and comfort guiding and supporting others
• Valid Ohio driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Ability to meet the essential and physical functions of the position
