Registration is LIVE for the 2025 Dick Parks Memorial Race at the Rock!

Join us for the 20th annual event in support of Flat Rock Homes, Care Center, and Community Services on May 17, 2025! More information on how to register and how to take home The Dick Parks Fundraising Award is below.

A few things to note:

  • Check-in opens at 8am on May 17th and closes at 8:45am
  • The Walk of Hope will kick off the day at 9am
  • The Dick Parks Fundraising Award will be presented to the top church, fundraising team, and individual*.
    • All fundraising dollars must be turned in before registration closes on the 17th to be counted
  • The last day to guarantee a race shirt is April 25th so don't miss out!
  • Participating from afar? Share your pictures with us! You can upload them here or tag us @flatrockhomes across social media.

How to Register (Please Read!)

Registration looks different this year! After our switch of providers back in October, we have a new registration system. There's only a couple of big differences:

  • You can only register for one event or item at a time.
    • If you're registering five people all for the 5K, you can do that in one go!
    • But, if two of those people want to do the 5K and the other three want to do the 1-mile (for example), that will have to be two separate transactions.
    • If you're just registering yourself, this should be a quick process!
  • On the last page of the form, you will fill in everyone's information, including their shirt size and team or church team name (if you have one)

Please call us if you're having trouble, and we will do our best to help you out!

Other Information!

  • If your loved one is served by Flat Rock Care Center or Flat Rock Community Services, you do not need to register them for the Walk of Hope. Their shirts and participation are covered by our amazing sponsors.

Are you trying to take home The Dick Parks Fundraising Award?

Here's everything you need to know!

  • All fundraising dollars have to be turned in by the close of registration (8:45am) on May 17, 2025 to be counted.
  • One person must be registered for the 1-mile, the 5K, or the virtual event to be eligible to win fundraising awards. Shirt purchases do not count as registration.
  • How you can fundraise
    • NEW! Make your own donation page by clicking here. It will open a new tab that looks different than our website.
      • All you need to do to set up your page is click "Create my own fundraising page" on the right side of your screen, put in your name (or your team/church name) and fill in with a valid email address!
      • You will get two emails, one to share and one that's just for you so you can update your individual page. Add a picture and update your story so your friends and family know that it's you.
      • These pages also allow you to see who has donated to support you (and who is winning!)
    • Donate through the Race at the Rock Giving Page. All they need to do is put your name, or your team/church name in the text field that asks for it.
    • Checks can be mailed to Flat Rock Homes, Attn: Race 2025, PO Box 1, Flat Rock, Ohio 44828. Please make checks out to Flat Rock Homes and include the name of the person, team, or church that is being supported.
    • Money can be turned in on the morning of the race! Bring it with you to check-in and hand it in then.

Flat Rock Homes, Care Center, and Community Services, as well as other affiliated groups, are not responsible for injuries resulting from your participation in our event.

By sharing photos with Flat Rock Homes either by tag on social media, email, upload, or with our hashtag, you are permitting for your photo to be used by Flat Rock Homes, Care Center, and Community Services for use in marketing including but not limited to: social media, the company website, and mailed items.

*to be eligible for the fundraising awards, at least one person per team must be registered for the event. All individual fundraisers must be registered for the event. Shirt purchases do not count as registration.
