Service Projects

Volunteer service projects at Flat Rock are fun and rewarding.

Our location in the heart of Ohio farm country is perfect for summer mission teams. If a summer mission trip is too big a task, we can also plan shorter one-day events any time of year. Your help is crucial to the Flat Rock Mission.

If your group would like to help serve the residents in our care, consider a service project on our campus.

In recent years groups have taken on a number of projects that may seem small, but help us in innumerable ways.

Past tasks include, but are not limited to:

  • Painting tables at our Adult Advantages location
  • Replacing boards on Community Services Homes
  • Planting flowers
  • Trimming hedges
  • Cleaning out and organizing closets and classrooms
  • Sanitizing toys
  • Wrapping Christmas presents
  • Sorting donated clothing

We make every effort to make sure that each group has the opportunity to spend time with our residents and learn about our ministry.

If this is something your group is interested in, please complete this form and return. If you have any questions, pleas email Sherri.
