Residential Services

Flat Rock Community Services Residential serves those persons with developmental and intellectual disabilities living in several counties. These residences are licensed by the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities.

Our homes accommodate three to four persons each. We strive to ensure that every residence is a true home for each person. Anyone living in our homes has his or her own bedroom. Homes are staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week to assure proper supervision and support is given to its residents. Our Direct Support Staff work with each resident to establish a realistic daily routine of work and community-based programming to promote independence, maintain self-worth, and learn important living and social skills.

Our approach and philosophy are to provide residential supports that assist each person to accomplish their daily activities, learn new skills and live as independently as possible in their own home; we help our residents learn cleaning, cooking, good hygiene habits, and shopping for groceries or clothing; we are working to build sustainable life skills and confidence for the future.
