SEYBERT UNITED METHODIST CHURCH GIFTS FLAT ROCK HOMES CHURCH PROPERTY

FLAT ROCK, OH- (July 2024) This past Sunday, Flat Rock Homes was given a truly incredible gift. After 149 years of ministry, Seybert United Methodist Church in Bellevue has closed and passed its church and parsonage property to Flat Rock Homes so that ministry can continue and lives can continue to be changed.

Seybert United Methodist Church has a long-standing connection to Flat Rock and its mission. Originally founded in 1875 as the Seybert Evangelical Church, the mission of service has been long-standing. The facility on Main Street in Bellevue was built in 1965 and in 1966 the congregation made the journey to the new church where they held service and worship for nearly 60 years. The building boasts an incredible Gottfried Pipe Organ from the original building.
